Trips4Fundraising is a triple bottom line business (people, profit, planet) meaning that where possible, we work to improve the lives of people in communities and the environment both locally and internationally. Trips4Fundraising is committed to managing our company and measuring success in a way that balances these facets. A few examples of how we do this are listed below.

Support of a Wide Range of Charities

Our trips help US non profits working in medical, education, environmental, animal protection, community stewardship and the arts raise funds for their important programs.

Carbon Offsetting

We offer carbon offsetting for all of our trips and clients.

Green Globe Certified Resorts

We offer environmentally responsible package options some of which are Green Globe certified such as Palm Island, St. James Club Antigua, St. James Club Morgan Bay, and The Verandah. We also offer the Virgin Islands Environmental Resource Station that teaches our youth about our environment and marine systems. We offer many nature loving and adventure packages that connect our clients with the outdoors that have a light footprint such as our sailing trip in Seattle, and our outdoor packages to Wyoming and Belize, among others.

Solaidom Schools

Solaidom_School

Trips4Fundraising has been providing Solaidom's four schools in the Dominican Republic with monetary and material donations since 2004. The schools are located in Tanquesitos de Boca Chica, Soco de San Pedro de Macoris and in Haina. The school workshop in Soco de San Pedro de Macoris is located on a sugar cane batey with a large population of Haitian immigrants. The objectives of the schools are to provide disadvantaged youth with professional orientation, history, theatre, French and art classes. Many of the children come from homes with fathers working in construction or motorcycle taxi's and mother's working in prostitution or in nearby hotels. Their activities allow them to fight against prostitution which is a major labor force of these barrios. The schools have been successful in teaching children there are other ways to earn a living.
