Bob Dylan was honored as the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015  at the Los Angeles Convention Center Los Angeles during GRAMMY Week right before the 57th GRAMMY Awards. The MusiCares Person of the Year tribute ceremony is one of the most prestigious charitable events held during GRAMMY Week. Proceeds from the 25th annual benefit gala dinner and concert went to MusiCares.  This year’s event was the most successful event in MusiCare’s history in monies raised and in tickets sold.   Trips 4 Fundraising was honored to be a part of it! Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter presented Bob Dylan with MusiCares Person of the Year Award. Performers during the spectacular tribute concert included past GRAMMY winners: John Mellencamp, Alanis Morissette, Willie Nelson, Aaron Neville, Beck, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Norah Jones, Tom Jones, Los Lobos,  Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, Susan Tedeschi, Neil Young, among several others.  The event included a gala with a reception and amazing silent auction followed by a dinner, the award presentation and a memorable tribute concert by talented award winning musicians. You can watch event highlights here.
